HoPe is created by the former gallery Ilex Photo, which was leading Italian photography gallery in
Rome, since 2008. Ilex Photo represented world’s best photographers such as Vivian Maier, Rene
Burri or Lettizia Battaglia and promoted rising visual storytellers.

HoPe in practice
THE COLLECTION will be cornerstone of HoPe. 9000 one of a kind virtual photos, worth 250 euro
each and 500 printed photos at regular prices will be released on the Drop Day. Everyone who would
buy a photo from The Collection would become HoPe community member and from that moment
will contribute to the creation of HOPe

Exhibitions
1. We will vote on exhibitions’ artists, topics, locations and contribute to design and entourage, so that we set our mark properly before we have our own museum space.

2. Some of You will be given chance to create Your own exhibition room, so that we can test that feature before introducing it as a permanent element for community when the museum will open
Parties and Events
3. We will regularly meet on HoPe extravaganzas as well as organise and visit photography-related events. Let’s be mainstream and do yacht first.
Sales of Photographs
4. We want to diversify sales of photographs and sell them like high end fashion. We will ask You for advice, so that those with diamond eyes for photography will be properly rewarded.

7. We will give community members a free hand to propose us initiatives for collaborations with branda/photography-related projects. Coolest photo in top NBA club kit wins 2 tickets for their game ? Let’s organise photography conference ? Or maybe we will create a photo-based t-shirt design for a fashion house ? We will do everything to put Your best and most deliberate initiatives into life and prove that photography is the longest axis in the world !
Photo Awards
8. Photo Awards will be HoPe major annual competition, based on completely different rules than exisisting awards. We will invite our community members to co-create this unique projects through participation and select one community member to the jury.

9. SPHOT will be our last project before the museum opens.
We will try to merge photographers with… psst better not to tell here, someone might steal the idea ! You will learn in due time !
